Go on a hot chocolate tasting as the ultimate winter gourmet warm-up. Whether your Asheville visit takes you gallery hopping on Broadway, antique shopping in Biltmore Village or checking out the hip hangouts in the Westville neighborhood, you’re always close to a cup of hot chocolate.
Is Jack Frost nipping at your nose just a little too much? What you need is a rich, steaming hot mug of hot chocolate. Once reserved for Aztec royalty, hot chocolate has been a wintertime favorite since Montezuma introduced the drink to the Spanish conquistadores nearly 500 years ago.

While you are one you hot chocolate tasting bing, be sure to bring some bars of dove chocolate and whipping cream so that you can make a good cup of hot chocolate even better. It is a little trick I learned a while back.
I personally love drinking chocolate, but there is a big difference between hot chocolate and drinking chocolate. I found a lot of info and good recipes at http://www.drinkingchocolates.com. They even have flavorings you can add like raspberry and irish crème. Yum! The Italian Style Drinking Chocolate at drinkingchocolates.com is so delicious - better than any cocoa mix I've ever had at least.
