Asheville labels: Asheville, black bears, blue ridge parkway
Asheville’s unlimited potential lets you shape your vacation on your terms. Discover new worlds of art and music, soak up bohemian culture or just relax in the sunbeams at a sidewalk cafĂ©. This blog documents the flavor and excitement that we enjoy seven days a week in the mountains of Western North Carolina.

Wow. That was pretty cool. There were a lot of them. As many times as I've been up there, I've never seen a bear.
Oh wow. Those bears are too cute - now that is something I would really love to see.
I've never been to America before. Those are American bears aren't they?
In Africa it's a thrill to see a pride of lions. But you only see them in a national park and not just any where. Although you do see baboon families.
Those are in fact American Black Bears, which have been known to roam throughout the Appalachian Mountains.
