Music lovers rejoice--Biltmore has released their Summer Evening Concerts dates for this year! Concerts are held on the South Terrace of Biltmore House with the Blue Ridge Mountains as the backdrop. The result is a surprisingly intimate atmosphere in a beautiful setting.

July 24: ABBA The Tour
July 25: An Evening with Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers
July 30: An Evening with Tom Jones
July 31: Rick Springfield with special guests Loverboy
August 1: Oak Ridge Boys and Doc Watson and David Holt
Tickets go on sale at Biltmore beginning May 5.

Anyone out there know how getting the tickets works for these concerts? I know they go on sale at 8:00 am on May 5th, but can you get them only by calling or online, or can you go to the estate box office (and where is that exactly) at 8:00 that morning? I have never been to any of these concerts and I am coming from out of town and want to be sure I get good tickets, so any comments/suggestions/recommendations are much appreciated.

Tickets for Biltmore's Summer Evening Concert series will be available for purchase starting May 5 at Biltmore's Welcome Center, located appx. one-quarter mile inside the main Biltmore gate near Biltmore Village. You may also buy them at various Guest Services booths around the estate starting that day. And, as you noted, tickets can be purchased online at biltmore.com and by phone (828-336-1255).
