Yesterday, Asheville’s newest hotel opened its door to visitors. Hotel Indigo, located in the heart of downtown Asheville, offers guests (and their pets) the ability to stay within steps of historic Asheville’s shops, art galleries, museums and independent restaurants.
The hotel embraces all things Asheville in its philosophy and design by featuring locally inspired artwork and regionally sourced materials. The lobby contains a Gabion wall stacked with native stones of various shapes and sizes and photographic murals of outdoor scenes taken by Asheville artist Zen
Sutherland. The local influence even extends to the hotel’s Phi Bar & Bistro. The menu is based on locally made and grown products from the community.
